Section 2(1)(a) in The Uttarakhand Witness Protection Act, 2020

(a)"Competent Authority" means committee constituted in the Chainanship of District Judge and Senior Superintendent of Police, Additional District Magistrate and Prosecution officer in charge of District (Joint Director, Prosecdion/ Senior prosecution officer) Shall be its members.
