Section 2(5) in Tamil Nadu Occupants of Kudiyiruppu (Conferment Of Ownership) Act, 1971
(5)"Court" means -(i)in the City of Chennai, the Chennai City Civil Court; and(ii)elsewhere, the Subordinate Judge's Court having jurisdiction and if there is no such Subordinate Judge's Court, the District Court having jurisdiction;
