Section 58 in First Statutes of the University of Udaipur
58. Departments to be Primary Units.
- Each Department of the University or of that College including any Campus thereof as well as of the School shall be the Primary Unit of Education and Administration. It shall cariy on the programme of instruction and research and where appropriate, extension in a particular field of knowledge.
