(3)Where property is sold under sub-section (2), the sale proceeds shall after deducting the expense of sale, be paid to such person or persons who may appear to the [State] [The word 'State' was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government to be entitled to the same.
