Section 120(1)(c) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964

(c)[ Educational Qualifications. - A candidate must have passed- [Substitued by S.R.O. 25-E, dated 29th October, 1967]
(i)the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with English, Mathematics, and at least one of the subjects Physics or Chemistry as principal subjects or
(ii)the first year examination, under the three-year Degree Course of a University approved by the Government of India, with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics or Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
