Section 16(a) in Maharashtra Protection of People from Social Boycott (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2016
(a)to detect the commission of offence under the provisions of this Act by any person in the area of his jurisdiction, by taking such action as he deems fit and to report such cases to the Magistrate;
