Magistrate at Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.18 of 2013.

:ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.18 of 2013.

2.According to the petitioners, though the case in C.C.No.18 of 2013 has been taken on file on 28.01.2013 by the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, till now, the trial has not commenced. Therefore, they filed the present Criminal Original Petition for speedy disposal of the said case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the said criminal case is of the year 2013 and appropriate direction may by issued to the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.18 of 2013, within a time limit as fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the fact that the case is of the year 2013, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.18 of 2013 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
