3/07.10.2009

Nobody appears for the petitioner. However, heard Mrs. I. Sen Choudhary, learned counsel for the opposite parties.

Pursuant to the order dated 14/09/2009, the show cause has been filed by the General Manager-cum-Chief Engineer, Transmission Zone-I, i.e. O.P. No. 3. It appears that by an order dated 21/11/2007 in WPS No. 3779/2007, this Court gave liberty to the petitioner to file representation for redressal of his grievance and the General Manager-cum-Chief Engineer, was directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within eight weeks. It was also directed that the admitted dues should be paid to the petitioner without any further delay.

By filing show cause, it has been stated that by an appropriate order dated 14/03/2009, contained in Annexure-A to the show cause, the representation of the petitioner has already been disposed of and all the retiral admitted dues have already been paid to him, therefore, the order of this Court has already been complied with.

There is no denial of these facts from the side of the petitioner.

In view of the facts stated above, this contempt proceeding is dropped.
