Section 15(3) in Orissa Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2004
(3)(a)Where an application for grant or renewal of mining lease is-(i)delivered personally, its receipt shall be acknowledged forthwith; or(ii)received by registered post, it shall be acknowledged on the same day;(b)In any other case the receipt of such application shall be acknowledged within three days of the receipt and the receipt of every such application shall be acknowledged in FORM-C.
