Section 22 in West Bengal Escheats and Forfeitures Act, 2012
22. Protection of action taken under this Act.
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is done in good faith or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rules made thereunder.(2)No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused or any injury suffered or likely to be suffered by virtue of any provision of this Act or by anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rules made thereunder.
