(3)No person shall be entitled to be registered in the electoral roll for any Municipal area if his name has already been registered as a voter in the electoral roll of any other Municipal area, or Panchayat area.Explanation. - The expression "qualifying date" shall mean such date as the State Government may by notification specify for the purposes of This Act.Explanation II. - The expression "ordinarily resident" shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in section 20 of the Representation of the people Act, 1950.
