(36)"housing Co-operative society" means a Co-operative society, the primary object of which is to provide to its members with dwelling houses, flats or lands for construction of dwelling houses or flats or with finance for purchase of land for construction of dwelling houses and maintenance of common services in connection therewith, and includes a federation of such Co-operative societies;
