Subject :- Shifting of B. Sc. Nursing students from Guru Nanak College of Nursing, Dhahan Kaleran and S.V. Memorial College of Nursing, Amritsar.No. 5/43/2003-5HB III/393. - This is in continuation of Notification No. 5/43/2003-5HBIII/5738, dated 11th December, 2003 -, vide which the University was directed to shift students from M.C.M. D.A.V. College of Nursing, Jalandhar and College of Nursing, Dhahan Kaleran as per their merit to College of Nursing at Patiala and Faridkot. The students of M.C.M. D.A.V. College of Nursing were shifted but Principal, Guru Nanak College of Nursing, Dhahan Kaleran for the 2nd time did not allow his students to go for counselling. In the meantime request from 9 more students has been received for their shifting from S.V. Memorial College of Nursing, Amritsar.[It has accordingly been decided that the Registrar, Baba Farid University would seek options of students of two colleges Guru Nanak College of Nursing, Dhahan Kaleran (Nawan Shahr) and S.V. Memorial College of Nursing, Amritsar and shift them according to their merit in the 2 Government Medical College at Faridkot and Patiala subject to vacancies. The shifting would be done strictly on the basis of merit. If Guru Nanak College of Dhahan Kaleran does not cooperate it may be deaffiliated at once and the Government may be requested for withdrawal of NOC.
