Section 16(1) in The Government Of Union Territories Act, 1963
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and to the rules and standing orders regulating the procedure of the Legislative Assembly, there shall be freedom of speech in the Legislative Assembly of [the Union territory] [Substituted by Act 18 of 1987, Section 65 (w.e.f. 30-5-1987)].
