Mr. Niraj Kishan Kaul, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent has produced a copy of order dated 14.08.2017 passed in the case of the petitioner herein. As per the said order, the petitioner has been given ad hoc promotion to the rank of Chief Conservator of Forests in higher pay scale that is attached to the said post. We are also informed that there is going to be Revision Committee meeting as well in the near future.
In view of the above development, nothing survives in this contempt petition. The contempt petition stands closed.
