Section 14(1) in The Assam Engineering (Public Works Department) Service Rules, 1978
(1)On receipt of the select list for the posts of Assistant Engineer from the Selection Board, the Appointing Authority shall forward it to the Commission together with the information and documents as referred to in sub-rule (2) of Rule 13 with a request to approve the list.
