Section 235(2) in Bihar Board's Miscellaneous Rules, 1958
(2)The following person, namely,-(a)pensioner specially exempted by Commissioners, Heads of Departments or the Collectors from personal appearance;(b)a female pensioner not accustomed to appear in public, and(c)a male or female pensioner, who is unable to appear in consequence of bodily illness or infirmity,may receive his or her pension, upon the production of a life certificate signed by a responsible officer of Government, or by some other well known and trustworthy person.
