Section 52(1) in The Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli Act, 2006
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the [Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirrappali] [Substituted for 'Anna University, Tiruchirrappali' by Act 25 of 2010, dated 11.6.2010.] Act, 2006 (Tamil Nadu Act 41 of 2006) (hereinafter referred to as the 2006 Act), the statutes, ordinances, regulations and orders made thereunder, on and from the appointed day, the colleges in the University area shall be disaffiliated from the Anna University, Chennai to which they were affiliated on the date immediately preceding such day.
