Section 8(a) in Uttarakhand River Valley (Development and Management) Act, 2005
(a)oversee the formulation and execution of development plan to achieve optimum utilization of natural resources for integrated and sustainable development of the basin, the development plan shall include water resources, land use and development of agriculture, sector development and related matters.
