- Save and except the provisions of any other law to which the provisions of this Act have been subject to, the latter shall have overriding effect over the provisions contained in any other law of the State for the time being in force or in any custom or usage or in any contract, express or implied, or any instrument having effect by virtue of any such State law other than this Act;Provided that in case more than one law have been given the overriding effect and are in conflict, then latest law shall have the overriding effect.
