(2)On occasions, such as wedding, anniversaries, funerals or religious functions when the making of a gift is in conformity with the prevailing religious or social practice, an employee may accept Gifts from his near relatives, but he shall make a report to the Secretary of the Managing Committee if the value of any such Gift exceeds Rs. 500/,
