Section 15(1) in The Khadi And Village Industries Commission Act, 1956
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, the functions of the Commission shall generally be to [plan, promote, facilitate, organise] and assist in the establishment and development of khadi and village industries in the rural area in coordination with other agencies engaged in rural development wherever necessary.
