Section 13 in The Bihar and Orissa General Clauses Act, 1917
13. Measurement of distances.
- In the measurement of any distance, for the purposes of any Bihar and Orissa Act [or Bihar Act] [Inserted by A.O. 1937.], that distance shall, unless a different intention appears, be measured in a straight line on a horizontal plane.
