JUSTICE SABINA Order 22/2/2017 Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking regular bail in F.I.R. No. 301/2016 registered at Police Station Shajahanpur, District Alwar, for offence under Sections 3, 5, 6, 8 & 9 of Rajasthan Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter and Regulation of Temporary Migration or Export) Act, 1995 & Section 16 & 54 of Rajasthan Excise Act,1950.

Heard.

As per the prosecution story, petitioners were transporting cows/calves for slaughtering purposes and one hundred litres of illicit liquor was also recovered from the petitioners.

Petitioners are in custody since 7.12.2016. Presently petitioners are in judicial custody and are not required for further investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are not involved in any other criminal case.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Petitioners be admitted to bail subject to satisfaction of the Trial Court.
