37A. Prohibition of Poppy straw.
- Save as provided in these rules the possession, transport, import inter-state, Export inter-State, Warehousing, sale, purchase, consumption and use of poppy straw is prohibited, except for medical or scientific purposes in the manner and to the extent provided by the provisions of the Act and the rules and orders made there under and also in accordance with the terms and conditions of the licence, or permit granted or authorisation made under the provisions of this Chapter.[Proviso...
