38. Power to make rules.
- The Government may make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act.(2)In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for-(a)prescribing the area of land for purposes of clause (g) of section 2 ;(b)prescribing the form of declaration under sub-section (1) of section 17 for submitting a declaration to make a gift of land ;(c)prescribing the form of notice under sub-section (3) of section 17 calling upon persons to show cause why a gift of land should not be accepted ;(d)stating other grounds under clause (iv) of sub-section (10) of section 17 for rejecting the offer to make a gift ;(e)prescribing other particulars under clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 21 ; and(f)any other matter which is to be or may be prescribed.
