Section 27(7) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice Rules, 2007
(7)The programmes under the scheme shall include:-(i)Facilitating employment generation for these youths will be a key programme.(ii)After a youth has saved a sufficient amount, he can be encouraged to stay in a place of his own and move out of the group home.(iii)The youth may continue staying in the home and return the deposit to the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).(iv)The youth learning a vocational trade can be given a stipend, which may be stopped once the youth gets a job.(v)Loans to there youth to set up entrepreneurial activities may also be arranged.(vi)A counsellor shall also be made available for juvenile at these homes, as at this stage of life, they can be lured into crime or drug dependence and such other habits or deviant behaviour.
