15. Levy and Collection of pipeline service charges.
- The Government may, by notification, direct the Corporation to levy and collect pipeline service charges from every owner or occupier of a premises to which water connection has been given at such rate as may be prescribed to the different categories as may be specified in this regard to defray the capital cost of pipeline service works undertaken by the Corporation and the operation and maintenance of the pipeline system from time to time:Provided that no such charges shall be levied on the owner or occupier of any premises situated in the areas which are not served by the pipeline system of the Corporation.
