Section 28 in Bengal Bonded Warehouse Association Act, 1838
28. Certificates of deposit, transferable by endorsement.-
And it is hereby enacted, that as often as any Goods are lodged in any Warehouse of the said Association, the Secretary of the said Association shall deliver a warrant signed by him as such Secretary, to the person lodging such Goods, which warrant shall he, as nearly as possible, in the form set firth in Schedule 11 annexed to this Act, and such warrant shall be transferable by indorsement, and shall entitle any person to whom it may have been so transferred by indorsement, to receive the Goods specified in such warrant, on the same terms on which the person who originally lodged those Goods would have been entitled to receive the same.
