(2)If the charge be one of culpable homicide or any other offence punishable with death or transportation, such child instead of being detained in the manner prescribed in sub-rule (1) shall be confined in the absence of any general or special order that the District Magistrate may make to the contrary, in the nearest Jail but in any case in a separate cell apart from adult prisoners.
