Section 3 in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules
3. Special election program.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, where the election process is interrupted or the election programme has to be altered on account of the orders of any Court of Law or for other valid reasons to be recorded in writing, it shall be competent for the Election Authority either generally or in respect of specified Water Users' Association to alter the election programme as he deems fit, in the circumstances of the case without having regard to sub-rule (5) of Rule 2 and the election officer shall give effect to the same :Provided that where the election programme is renotified under this rule commencing from the making of nominations, the nominations already made shall be disregarded and the deposits, if any, made under Rule 6 shall be refunded.
