(1)This Act may be called the Rajasthan Police Act, 2007.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Rajasthan, and to the police force of the State deployed outside the State.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, be notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act.
