(3)"Inspector-General" shall mean the Inspector- General of Prisons and shall include any officer appointed by the State Government to perform all or any of the duties imposed by this Act on the Inspector-General;[(3-A) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act] [Inserted by Act XXIII of 1958.];
