Section 50(2) in Bombay Wild Animals and Wild Birds Protection Act, 1951
(2)the killing or capturing in good faith of any wild animal or wild bird in defence of himself or of any other person;Provided that nothing in this section shall exonerate any person who, when such defence became necessary, was hunting any game or committing any contravention of this Act.
