Section 18 in Andhra Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1963
18. Canteen hall.
(1)The canteen hall shall accommodate at least thirty per cent of the motor transport workers likely to come at a time:Provided that in any particular undertaking or°in any particular class of undertakings, the Government may, by notification in this behalf in the Official Gazette alter the percentage of workers to be accommodated.(2)The floor area of the canteen hall excluding the area occupied by service counter and any furniture, except tables and chairs, shall not be less than 9.2 Sq. decimetres or 0.39 Sq. metres per diner to be accommodated under sub-rule (1).(3)Sufficient tables, chairs or benches shall be available for the number of diners to be accommodated under sub-rule (1).(4)Soaps and towels shall be provided at the washing places in the canteen.
