Section 22(iii) in The Jharkhand Agricultural Produce Markets Rules, 2000
(iii)If the Presiding Officer, owing to illness or other unavoidable cause, is absent from the Polling Station his functions shall be performed by such Polling Officer as may be authorised in his behalf by the Election Officer.
