Section 50(1) in The U.P. Harcourt Butler Technical University Act, 2016
(1)Whenever any complaint is received by the State Government regarding loss, waste or misapplication of any money or property of the University or the State Government on its own thinks fit, it may direct for special audit of the University being done by the Director, Local Fund Accounts, Uttar Pradesh or by any officer subordinate to him.
