Section 45(3) in Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973
(3)The University shall have the power to recognise (for the purposes of admission to a course of study for a degree), as equivalent to its own degree, any degree conferred by any other University of, as equivalent to the Intermediate Examination of any Indian University, any examination conducted by any other authority.
