Section 62(1) in The Gujarat Agricultural Universities Act, 2004
(1)It shall be the duty of the first Vice-Chancellor to make arrangements for constituting the Academic Council and other authorities of the University other than the Board within six months after the date of his appointment or such longer period not exceeding one year in the aggregate as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct.
