(3)A University shall be a residential, teaching and affiliating University, and shall consist of a Chancellor, a Vice-Chancellor, a Rector, an [Executive Council] [Throughout the Act for the words 'Board of Management' the words 'Executive Council' substituted by Act No.13 of 1995.] and an Academic Senate. It shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said Corporate name.
