Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being threatened with the false implication on account of political affiliations. A representation dated 26.11.2018 (Annexure P1) has been submitted, but no action has been taken thereupon, till date.
Notice of motion.
Mr. K.S. Sidhu, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 5. Let six copies of the petition be supplied to him during the course of the day.
In view of the nature of the order being passed, there is no necessity to call upon respondent Nos.6 and 7, at this stage.
The petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to objectively consider the representation (Annexure P1) and to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, in case it is felt necessary, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
