Section 210(1) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(1)The Commissioner shall, on application by the owner or occupier of any premises or the owner of a private street, arrange, in accordance with the by-laws for the connection, if practicable, of the applicants drain with a public drain at the applicant's expense.
