Section 40(4) in The Tamil Nadu Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1966
(4)Notwithstanding the repeal by sub-section (1) of the corresponding law, all ancient monuments or archaeological sites and remains declared lo be protected monuments or protected areas under the corresponding law shall be deemed to be ancient monuments or archaeological sites and remains declared to be protected monuments or protected areas under this Act.
