Section 24(1) in The Assam Agricultural Produce Market Act, 1972
(1)The Board shall create a pool of officers as soon as may be convenient for appointment of such staff at the markets as may be notified from time to time in the official Gazetted. Every market Committee shall contribute a sum not exceeding 30 per cent of its gross revenue as may be determined by the Director to the fund of the Board to meet the cost of staff to be appointed by the Board under sub-section (2) and also for meeting the cost of general supervision.
