The cognizance of the offence is already taken by the Virtual Court and a fine was proposed for summary disposal of case as per section 208 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The violator has exercised option to contest the challan on web portal of virtual traffic courts and the challan is transferred to this court for further adjudication as per law.
At this stage, accusation U/s 184 of M.V. Act explained to the violator in his vernacular language. Violator submits that he wishes to plead guilty for offence U/s 184 of M.V. Act. Violator is apprised about the consequences of pleading guilty and the fact that he can be convicted for the offence. Violator submits that he has understood the consequences and wants to plead guilty. Keeping in view the plea of guilt of offence by the violator, he is convicted for offence U/s 184 of M.V. Act.
The violator submits that he be given an opportunity to repent and reform. In my considered opinion, violator deserves an opportunity to repent and reform. Considering nature of offence, plea of guilt of violator and genuine urge on his part to repent and reform, he is admonished for the offence U/s 184 of M.V . Act.
