Section 742(6)(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943

(a)A centralised qualifying examination for the selection of candidates to fill vacancies in the rank of Sub-Inspector will be held at Calcutta and elsewhere as necessary by the Central Recruitment Board in the first week of September. Paper Setter-cum-Head Examiner and other Examiners will be appointed by the Inspector-General.
