Section 21(1) in Tamil Nadu Village Panchayats (Receipts and Expenditure and Maintenance of the Accounts of Village Panchayats) Rules, 2000
(1)The village panchayat shall receive a sum equivalent to the seigniorage fees collected by the Government every year from persons permitted to quarry minor minerals in the panchayat village.
