Section 49(5) in Tamil Nadu Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1959
(5)Any reference in any law which continues to be in force in the transferred territory after the commencement of this Act to the Travancore-Cochin Land Development Act, 1950 (Travancore-Cochin Act XXXVI of 1950), shall, in relation to that territory, be construed as a reference to this Act.
