Section 1 in The Bengal Diseases Of Animals Act, 1944

1. Short title and extent.

(1)This Act may be called the [Bengal Diseases of Livestock Act] [Substituted by Act No. 9 of 2008, dated 17.4.2008.], 1944.
(2)It extends to the whole of [West Bengal] [Words substituted for the word 'Bengal' by the Indian Independence (Adaptation of Bengal and Punjab Acts) Order, 1948.].
