Section 269(5) in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(5)The [State] Government may pass such orders with respect to such declaration as it may think fit:Provided that such declaration shall not thereby be made applicable to any street, portion of a street or locality not specified in the notice issued under sub-section (1).
